I have been thinking a lot about Core Values lately and what they mean, not only to me but to my Clients and how they relate to meeting a significant other. They are the foundation of everything I do or at least they should be. What are they to me... Compassion, Spirituality, Honesty, Open-mindedness and Service. At first I thought I would not say what they are but by saying them, they hold steadfast. Not only to myself but others can hold me to them as well. If I ever feel uncomfortable about something that I am doing I know that my core values are not being treated with the respect that they deserve.
These values are not your personality traits but the core belief system that you do not waiver from. They are the stepping stones that we share with not only our loved ones but our friends who last. Here is a list of values if you are having a hard time finding some for yourself:
Peace Integrity Power Wealth Joy Influence Happiness Love Justice Success Recognition Spirituality Friendship Family Career Fame Truth Status Authenticity Wisdom Acceptance Health Passion Risk-Tolerance Risk-Adverse Motivated Enthusiastic Optimistic Critical Caring Compassion Excellence Innovative Balance Teamwork Fun Alignment Comfortable Open-Minded Pride Results Achievement Fairness Respect Decisive Honest
Core values are beautiful and are what set us apart and are are what bring us together. Finding these qualities out in a person are what help us to align each person with their spirit. For example you don't ask someone to lie if the core value is honesty or you don't ask parent to give up their only day off to go hang out when their core value is family. Once you understand someone it helps.
So shout out your values let people get to know you. You never know who you might meet?
